Sylas: Drummer

Hello, I am Sylas. I've been playing drums for about 2 years now. I am always improving my craft and I really enjoy mixing music. The genres of music I listen to vary greatly, but at the moment I mainly listen to Jazz, Jazz Fusion, Bossa Nova, and Game/Movie soundtracks.

Cooper: Guitarist

Hi, I’m Cooper and I have been playing guitar for about 8 years, and writing music for about 5. I predominately listen to punk rock, though I also listen to some indie/alternative, metal, and pop. With this band I want to write music, play shows, and record and release music online.

Brooke: Guitarist

Hey it’s me Brooke and I have been playing guitar and singing for just over a year now. I have also played a few other instruments over the years but the band has really helped me focus and grow as a singer and guitarist. I really like a variety of music genres but my favourites are metal, folk, and alt-rock. I really hope to grow personally as a musician through this band and build up my self-confidence.

Cleo: Bass

Ello! I’ve been playing bass and writing music for about 3 years now, along with guitar and vocals. My top 100 songs include rock, pop, lofi, jazz, rnb, folk, game sountracks, and bossa nova, so it’s quite jumbled. I really hope that within the next year we have an EP that we can confidently release online, which means I should probably learn a little bit more about my gear.

About Us

The Moths are a rock band located in North Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. We have been playing together for about a year doing small gigs within our school Seycove Secondary, and with the help from DCM we have done a few smaller gigs outside of school, mainly coffee houses and other performance venues. We are always striving to improve and we are currently in the process of writing multiple new songs. Our next performance will be held at the yearly Battle Of The Bands, organized by Deep Cove Music.
